Learn and practice higher yoga and spiritual disciplines

The Śambhala curriculum on higher yoga and meditation is based on the teachings of the Śambhala Maṭha and Gouri-Śankara Piṭha in the Himalaya. Integrating diverse aspects of indigenous knowledge, the coursework guides aspirants in spiritual inquiry, mindful living, and immersive meditative practice.

Teachings from Sacred Traditions

The Śambhala curriculum (gurukulam) is inspired by traditional teachings honoring Lord Viṣṇuyaśā Kalkideva and the spirit of Śambhala as a symbol of benevolence, wisdom, and dharma. The term Śambhala carries connotations of auspiciousness, meaningful discourse, fellowship, and spiritual connection, reflecting a vision of bringing people together through contemplative practice and higher understanding.

Learn from a Realized Teacher

His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda comes from Himalayan lineages known for combining contemplative scholarship with nātha siddha yogic practice. Through advanced prāṇāyāma, meditative inquiry, and deep study of Sanskrit philosophical traditions, he attained profound spiritual realization.
